Abstract
The article is devoted to evaluating the current level of agricultural development in different countries based on the principles of sustainable development. This evaluation was made by determining the Euclidean distance between the actual values of the country and the reference (standard) values of indicators that characterize agriculture. As a result, a brief description of the (current) level of agricultural development in the Russian Federation is given.
