The online scientific publication “Sustainable Innovative Development: Design and Management” is addressed to scientists, teachers, postgraduates and students, employees of federal and regional government bodies, as well as everyone interested in the practical application of ideas and mechanisms of sustainable development, movement towards a qualitatively new state of society, issues of development and integration of natural, technical and social sciences.
Since 2008, when we began our work, serious changes have occurred in the country and in the world. From that global crisis (financial, economic, social), when it was strange to dream of sustainable development, the world cyclically, it would seem, came to the next cataclysm, which manifested itself in the form of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead of unification, contradictions have intensified. The dynamics of globalization, when there were hopes for a friendly joint movement forward of all mankind, has moved into a state of division of the world economy into a complex interweaving of cooperating and competing regions.
However, it is precisely in times of difficulty that it is necessary to continue to design the transition to stable growth of economic and social development. The world will inevitably move away from attempts to continue colonial policy to a more just structure. Russian cosmism proposes the growth and development of all people with the exploration of outer space. The growth of organized living matter opposes the movement of the world towards the dissipation of energy and the heat death of the universe. We still do not know much about our space and time, the properties of living organisms, as well as about possible other worlds outside the zone of our observations.
It is necessary to develop scientific foundations and methods for designing and managing sustainable development. Sustainable development management methods should ensure the introduction of new technologies without declines after the completion of the renewing effect of their explosive potential. It is necessary to create mathematical models, information technologies that manage sustainable development, ensuring social stability, when changes in the global economy, innovations and technological revolutions improve, rather than destroy, the way of life of millions of people. Thus, scientific methods for designing sustainable development of the social and economic mechanism should be supplemented by methods for managing the country’s movement in stable conditions of constant growth, regardless of external counteractions.
To assess the results of movement along the path of development, the development and application of a set of measures based on objective, measurable values that show the real state of affairs continues. As we enter the development stage, objective values should be used not only to assess the results, but also to assess the threats of potential crises and develop a set of measures to prevent their occurrence. These areas of scientific research are very relevant now. The problems of sustainable development have become the subject of theoretical and applied research, are actively discussed in the scientific press, journalism, at national and international conferences. Many works of domestic and foreign scientists are devoted to the political, environmental, organizational, financial and economic aspects of the concept of sustainable development. The development of these works, as well as new ideas and results have been published on the pages of our journal over the past time. They have had a certain impact on the understanding of issues of innovative sustainable development. We expect the continuation of our joint work, in which theoretical and methodological foundations will be interconnected into a holistic picture based on the general laws of Nature in terms of universal systemic measures and will unite humanity to fulfill its space mission.
At the International University of Nature, Society and Man “Dubna” at the Department of Sustainable Innovative Development, the Scientific School of Sustainable Development has been formed and has been developing for a number of years. The ideology of our school of sustainable development is fundamentally different in the use of methods based on the universal laws of Nature, as well as innovative technologies, for the design of sustainable development. The scientific school of sustainable development is known far beyond Russia. The subject matter of its work covers theoretical and methodological research, as well as applied developments in various aspects of sustainable development: organization, design and management, technology, ecology, economics, social sphere, worldview, philosophy. Many works were carried out in cooperation with domestic and foreign partners of the department and were tested at the interdisciplinary seminar “Fundamental and Applied Problems of Sustainable Development”. A number of works were supported by grants from the President of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research and international grants.
Scientists from different countries have been successfully communicating with each other for a long time. At the same time, the acceleration of the pace of life, science, and the economy requires an increase in the intensity of scientific communication. To do this, it is necessary to accelerate the process of introducing new ideas, methods, and technologies into scientific circulation, especially in those areas that are related to sustainable development. We believe that an online scientific publication will help create a unified communication space for those involved in the issues of sustainable innovative development.
The goal of the online publication is the prompt publication of significant results of scientific research in the field of sustainable development and practically effective results of their application, the dissemination of the latest theoretical developments and positive practical experience on the issues of sustainable development using Internet technologies.
Online journals are a dynamically developing technology that allows a wide range of readers to quickly get acquainted with the latest scientific developments, freely conduct discussions with the authors of articles and other interested parties. Moreover, what is very important, it provides constant and reliable access to materials and their long-term storage. All these advantages allow us to consider this technology as one of the most important ways of disseminating scientific knowledge at the present stage of development of world science.
We hope that our journal will become an information platform for dialogue, interested and professional discussion of various opinions, views, positions and creative discussions.
