Abstract

The article is based on the report by B.E. Bolshakov and O.L. Kuznetsov at the International scientific conference “Problem of sustainable development of Mankind in the “nature – society – man” system” dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the outstanding Russian scientist Pobisk G. Kuznetsov, held May 29, 2014, at the Presidium of RAS. It analyzes the contribution of P.G. Kuznetsov in the science and practice of sustainable development, considers long-term projects, which he laid the foundations for, outlines the ways to implement them.

POBISK KUZNETSOV AND MODERN NATIONAL POWER CONCEPTIONS

Abstract

Pobisk Kuznetsov is co-authtor of national power conception, worked out in 1960–70s. Today there are several conception of this kind in certain countries in Asia and America. Some of these applications have operational status. Kuznetsov’s conception of state power in counting values has great potential for modern and future designers of such state-managing systems for operational use, to promote rising of national wealth and conduct full-scale operations according to science-based criteria.
