BEYOND TAYLOR METHODOLOGY FOR THE ORGANIZATION OF UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT

Abstract

The problem of university management in the context of the implementation of national projects (advanced engineering schools, youth educational centers) is considered. The relevance of the transformation of university management, taking into account new development tasks, is shown. The hypothesis of the study is that one of the methodologies of flexible management – Beyond Taylor methodology or clientocracy – is applicable to university management. The purpose of this article is to show the possibility of applying clientocracy to the university management system. The methodological foundations are the methodology of clientocracy – the management structure of an organization in which the hierarchy of management and processes are based on values. The methodology of clientocracy in relation to university management is presented for the first time. The value of the article is represented by management tools, allocation and description of organizational structure units. The target group of the article is represented by university leaders, heads of innovation groups.
